Short Trips but pretty long journey . . . . (Part 2)

Friday

The departure for our trip to Yichang did not go smoothly because some of us were late. Thus, Mr. Loh was disappointed with us. After that, we boarded our coach and departed for Yichang. Though it took us 5 long hours before reaching there, I managed to entertain myself with listening to music throughout the journey. When we reached the town, I’ve got to see quite astonishing condominiums. It reminds me of the Housing Development Branch (HDB) flats back at home, Singapore. Then we had our lunch at a quite up-class restaurant. The food there is better than we had at the 3-star hotel. I hope in the future our food here will be even better.

Saturday

After settling down on the cruise yesterday night, today we get to see amazing valleys and formation of cliffs. Throughout this cruise, I get to experience cooling temperature whereas in Singapore it’s always warm and humid weather. But then again, on the cruise, you have to wear thick clothing especially our legs because sometimes the winds can really make you shiver terribly unless you are used to it.

Sunday

The last day we are going to be Yichang was quite terrible. First me and my roommate in the cabin woke up late. We were supposed to be ready by 615am but we woke up around 630am. I was dumbstruck earlier to see all my other friends have bathed, changed and ready to have breakfast. My friend and I decided to have our breakfast quickly and then take our bath. After packing everything, we were ready to set off from the ship. Then we board on the bus which is going to send us to the Three Gorges Dam. Finally, the moment I have been eager to see the majestic structure of the Three Gorges Dam. It spread over 2.33km with height of 183metres and base over 115metres. I spammed and snapped photos on the dam. With the dam in between two mountain range, no wonder it is such a scenic picturesque landscape. Then we head back to our coach and head back to our hostel. We did not expect to encounter heavy traffic congestion upon reaching the campus.

Hmm. . . I kinda forgot whutt was this about. But I found it to be awesome. Yup :)

Great . . . . jus great

Its been a week since I came back from China, am still sick because of whutt I don't know. The trip was super fantastic. A lot of new experience I gained has been beneficial for my future. Even though we had to tolerate some difficulties, it still didn't demoralize us from having fun.

OIP Family

I'm sry to those whom I talked a few days back was a bit/too tactless. This is something I have to improve myself on. I won't make any excuses when I did foolish jokes on you. I hope things will get better as time goes on.

Size doesn't matter

Sometimes, even the smallest things have greater impact on you. Its about how you view in a different angle.
You'll never know it until that something or someone isn't there anymore. There's only one thing I would like to say, don't ignore the small little things. Sometimes, I think they are worth keeping as memories.

badASS. . .

I fell sick after the trip because of the wind and the rain. It was my first time experiencing freezing cold and numbness. Quite unpleasant. Now having flu, fever, cough and running nose.

Thnks for those who answered my phonecalls jus now even though you were still asleep. :)
